KHUM On-air Food Drive Brings in Big Bucks and Food too!

We’d like to send out a hardy and heart-felt ‘Thank You!’ to the terrific folks at KHUM and everyone who donated food and funds to our 2008 on-air food drive.  With the support of KHUM’s radio broadcast (on the airwaves throughout Humboldt County) as well as compassionate community members, Food for People was able to bring in a total of 7,547.65 pounds/ dollars.  All of the food and funds collected go directly toward assisting our friends and neighbors in need this holiday season.

Thank you, Rotary members and Hunger Fighter Teams, for speaking on-air about your involvement with Food for People!
