Fighting Hunger with Humor
Despite popular demand, it's back! The 21st Almost Annual Pun-off and benefit for Food for People. This dreaded event will be held Friday, March 2nd at 8 p.m. at the Arcata Theater Lounge. Admission is $15 and a can of food. Come watch the heavy wits square off in a contest of the lowest possible standards. Since 1977, the Pun-off has annoyed hundreds of people to raise thousands of dollars - so move your cans to the Arcata Theater Lounge, Friday, March 2nd to fight hunger with humor. The Pun-off continues its traditions and disappointment is guaranteed. Your actual smileage may vary.

The Feinstein Challenge - coming soon!
Food for People has accepted the Feinstein Challenge once again. Each year, Alan Shawn Feinstein donates a total of one million dollars. This money is divided amongst hunger relief agencies all across the country. Food for People has consistently been selected as one of the qualifying agencies for these additional funds. All food and funds donated to us during the months of March and April will receive Feinstein money from their Foundation added to it - the higher the donation collected in this time period, the greater amount of money Food for People will receive from the Feinstein million! Thank you for all your support and donations and for helping us to receive these additional funds.
