Move to End Hunger June 28

Join us for Move to End Hunger on Sunday, June 28 from 9 am to 2 pm starting at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary and continuing along the Humboldt Bay Trail. You can walk, bike, run or skate as individual or as a team, and solicit pledges per mile or flat donations from friends and family. Register now at https://go.rallyup.com/move-to-end-hunger26‍ ‍

Participants can choose to log miles on their own in the week leading up to the event, June 21 through 27, or join the group event on June 28. A registration and check-in station will be located at the Arcata Marsh parking area on South G Street in Arcata.

Participants can  pre-register for $25 as an individual or as part of a team, and to solicit pledges per mile or flat donations from friends and family to help reach the event fundraising goal of $5,000. The event is sponsored by the North Coast Co-Op, Coast Central Credit Union and Eureka Natural Foods. 

Move to End Hunger takes place on the one-year anniversary of the opening of the Humboldt Bay Trail. Organizers hope that the accessibility of the new trail connecting  Arcata to Eureka will encourage people of all ages to take part, move at their own pace, and help raise funds to help children, seniors, and families in Humboldt County facing  hunger.
